I wrote this piece in 2016 to be performed by the Symphonic Band of the Municipal School of Music.

This piece develops as a soundtrack for a fighter. In martial arts, Ground and Pound is a strategy in which a competitor takes his opponent to the ground and unleashes a flurry of blows to try to end a fight. Such an act is reflected especially in the percussion and during the timpani solo.
