Flute, Violin, Cello Bass Clarinet

I composed this piece for my composition course conclusion. The idea was simple and straightforward: to create a work influenced by heavy metal, featuring solos, riffs, and breakdowns. Additionally, I incorporated an entire random section that I love to use. Initially, I intended to write for electric instruments and use effects, but the complexity involved was too labor-intensive, so I ended up sticking with the acoustic realm. Two main influences for this piece would be Crumb and Sepultura. You might not easily notice them, but the intro of ‘Kairos’ strongly influenced the beginning of this work.

Ah, The title “Orgí” (όργή) translates to “anger” or “rage” in English. Very accurate.
